Thursday November 11/27 - What a Thanksgiving!

Morning - They backed down again on the sedatives a.k.a. "Sedation Vacation." She was getting feisty and was trying to remove the intubation tube, so they removed it.

This was very exciting!!!

She started responding to voices and was trying to open her eyes again. When she started trying to pull her feeding tube out, they removed that too.

Praise the Lord! The latest blood test shows the bacteria is going down. They believe the steroids are helping reduce the inflammation with all the movement she has. They want people around her that she knows so the familiar voices will trigger her memory. So not only is her family with her but even her nurse on the shift right now turns out to be her masters swim teammate, Kim. So there's another familiar voice working on getting her memory triggered. Alex said this is such a wonderful Thanksgiving gift.

Thank you so so much for your continued prayers and praise to God for this amazing wonderful change of events!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!
