House is ready for Noe!

The Christmas lights are still up, the house is clean and organized and the shower and stairs are accessible and safe! Thanks to all our family and friends Noe will be pleasantly surprised when she comes home this week! On Monday she will have her final diagnostic cerebral arteriogram to confirm there are no arterial cerebral abnormalities. On Tuesday she will meet with her new primary care physician and hopefully on Wednesday or Thursday she will be home! Thanks again for your faithful prayers and support.

"...Go home to your family and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you." Mark 5:19

Praise God. What a blessing, and how exciting! I'm so happy for all of you, and will keep praying. I look forward to meeting all of you in person one day -- provided Tiff doesn't hog you all to herself!

Oops. That was me on the above one. Accidentally hit the "enter" button too soon. Must have inherited some sort of clumsiness from my niece!

Noe - I am soooo exciting for you and your family. Finally you will be where you belong and with all the love and support that you have and will continue to have, you will be 100% before you know it. Once you get settled at home please don't hesitate to let us know if you need anything! Can't wait to see your smiling face down the road when you are feeling up to it. Always in our thoughts and prayers.

This is fantastic news, and what we've all been hoping and praying for! I'm sure you want out now, but try to hang in there the next couple of days, Noe, and you're gonna be home before you know it. PLEASE, if you guys need anything, don't hesitate to let us know. xo

Hooray, Noe!!! Praise the Lord! The anticipation and excitement on going home is too much! The boys must be elated to have you home in a couple of days. It still brings tears to my eyes when someone asks how you're doing (but, you know me...I'm such a sap!).
I'm sure you must be anxious to go home, but realx, take a deep breath - before you know it, you'll be in the comfort of your own home. Wait, is it your home? Rodlyn and mom did some amazing spring cleaning. Will you even recognize the place? The sweet smell of home...ahh! How wonderful for you!

Great news..and I love the verse from Mark! It was good to see Alex at church yesterday with a smile on his face. You'll be home before you know it, Noe, and I'm sure your mom's cooking will taste much better than the hospital food! Do you think your mom and Rodlyn would come over to my house to help me with spring cleaning and getting organized :-)

Praise God for his faithfulness! We will continue to pray for you all as you come together again in the family homestead! Continued peace, strength and grace as Noe continues her recovery in the comfort of her own home and surroundings. We hope we can all fellowship with one another real soon when Noe fills up for it as we know she will continue to need time to gain strength. God bless you all!

Noe, Oh how I have missed our chats. You have guided me in so many areas of my life and I am so thankful for our friendship. I joined a bible study! I kept coming up with excuses why I couldn't do it, but then I heard your voice in my head.."it will all work out!" And guess what it has. I am going Jennifer Alvarez's house and I can bring little Miss Abbie. See even from the hospital you help guide my walk with the Lord. I love and miss you! Can't wait to read the BLOG that says...She is HOME!

Hi Noe and Alex,

I was reading your post this morning and was reminded of a speaker my son, Craig, told me about on a website called TED. (It 's full of very liberal and many non-believers with interesting ways of thinking about things.) The one I think you might like tells her stroke and brain injury story. Her name is Jill Bolte Taylor, and her story and recovery from a stroke is amazing. The same speaker was on Oprah and her story was the pretty much the same.

I know your circumstances are not the same, but her story is so encouraging and could give you some other ways of thinking about this situation. If it's not "your bag" so to speak, all you have to do is press the "delete" key and forget about it. If it's an inspiration for you, I'm sure you'll know how to find more.

Be encouraged this Sunday morning, that you are loved, you are being prayed for, your friends and family are growing in number, and that the process of your life is important...even the little things like eating "mystery foods"! That was a good one! When Mark and I went to visit prisons with Bill Glass ministries, the inmates talked about eating "mystery meat". It was a funny thing then too!

Have a good laugh or two today. Bobby Chance is at HCW this AM. It's always good to see him and Dot.

Bless you both!
