Ready for Real Food!

From Alex: Noe begins the New Year with excellent progress with her physical therapy. Her left hand is getting stronger and she is beginning to regain her balance. She also passed the third round of her swallow test! This means she will be able to have a mini Spam Musubi for breakfast tomorrow! Please continue to pray for Noe's healing. We still request no visitors.

God has his loving arms around Noe every step of the way. "I am your Creator. You were in my care even before you were born." Isaiah 44:2

".. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment." Matthew 22:37,38

I have NO idea what it is that you will be eating....but I know it will be the best tasting thing ever!!!! (Just don't go overboard and ask the place for the recipie!)
I have run into several random people that are following your story. You obviously have led such a full life and touched so many people that there are hundreds (thousands) praying and storming the Heavens with requests! God answers prayer and you are ALL an amazing testimony. Keep it up. Looking forward to seeing you at church again soon!

Alex and Noe,
I saw Gilbert and Betty Lee and they heard about you and have been praying so I guess Western Hills as well as CPC have been praying; contributing to the multitudes. On Friday after Christmas, Bryce tried a spam musubi from L&L; he loved it.
Bryce and Logan really want to move back to California now after spending the afternoon with Noah and Luke!!!
See you soon,
Sit family

Good Morning, Noe. How wonderfrul to hear about your excellent progress . Keep up the good work. I know Tiff and others are chomping at the bit to see and talk to you. Alex has been doing a great job keeping them all up to date until that day arrives.

In an email today I received this and thought of you immediately.
"To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did. When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the grace of God will not protect you."

Much love to you and the family.

Oh Noe... Cole and Carson are going to be so jealous that you are getting Spam Musubi. You know how much they both LOVE it. It will have to be on the menu at your Luau. My Mom is right, I can't wait to see you. Tell Alex when you are ready... I'll be there. I can't believe how long you've been away from home (and away from me). I miss you tons! Tiff

Hi Noe and Alex,
We love all of this positive news. One step at a time Noe. Remember we are all standing behind you cheering you on.
Even though you are not ready to have visitors in person, we visit you in spirit and in heart each and every day. Your strength is better served to heal and keep up the daily improvement. So consider yourself very well visited. We look forward to those big platters of Spam Musubi at your luau.
Our love, the Lavery family

Noe... Noe... Noe... Chad asked me earlier today, "When are you going to get to go see Noe?" My response was "When the time is right". Noe... I soooo miss you! I need you in my life (ok... daily life) and REALLY need to come see you soon. Can I come with Spam Musubi??? (Yes... I'd have to buy it from Trader Joe's or some sushi place and it just wouldn't be the same) LOL!!! Alex... I'm trying really hard to be patient... but you know I really need to see and hug her! Ok... no more beggin', but when the time is right Alex, please let me know. Through this Noe, I have learned more patience than even my kids have ever taught me. Wow... and only you know how much that is! Love and miss you, Noe! Tiff

Eh Nei!
I like that Portagee sushi called Spam Musubi. In fact I make em myself with fried egg on top of the Spam. Oh so ono!
Okay enough of the food talk but I am thrilled that it's going to be real soon before you begin to eat again. Especially now that you are passing the swallowing tests.
We all continue to pray for your recovery and continue to ask the Lord to give you the strength. After reading the blog I can see that you have a lot of friends out there along with family wishing you the best. May the Lord bring you to them soon.

Me Ke Aloha Pumehana,
