Solid Foods

From Alex: Last night Noe had her first hospital meal without a trach tube with her fellow Rehab patients! Noe had a three course meal beginning with a fruit cup, cream of "something", and a mystery pudding dessert! She said that the meal is still better than the "brown stuff" she was given through her feeding tube. While Noe's body is using energy to heal her body from the last surgery, she remains quite tired. The family is still requesting no visitors.

Please pray for Noe's continued healing. Please pray for Noe's peace in the midst of recognizing that not all her abilities will return as quickly as she would like. It's going to take time to recover completely and get back to her normal routines. Considering the criticality of all she's been through, her continued recovery is nothing short of miraculous. Through Jesus, all things are possible!

"You shall fear the LORD your God; you shall serve Him and cling to Him, and shall swear by His name. He is your praise and He is your God, who has done these great and awesome things for you which your eyes have seen." Deuteronomy 10:20,21

"Praise the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise him with the strings and flute, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD." Psalm 150

Thank you so much for the updates.
I check up, sometimes hourly, to see the incredible progress you are making Noe! At this point in my life, you are the strongest person i know! Keep eating, resting, and getting stronger. Can't wait to see you hopefully soon at bunco! I will continue to pray for you ~ my thoughts are on you through out the day.

Keep on going Noe!

Hi Noe,
Here's the latest school update. Luke, as you have probably seen, took a little tumble on Friday. He was a bit banged up, but in good spirits anyways. We had our class spelling bee. Luke made it into the final round, with only four students left. I think he missed the word "featuring" a hard one. Eventhough he didn't win, he was a very good sport. To me that's much more important than winning. He handled the defeat with poise and kindness. (Later he did win a sticky buddy in our bingo game, thanks to vigilance of his good friend Riley who covered his board when Luke left for a moment!)

So glad you are better! Looking forward to seeing you soon, my friend!

Hi Noe,

Everyday is a new day and we all take joy in your continued improvement. We can't wait to have you home.

Stay strong, work hard (I don't think we have to tell you that) and be assured there are many people out here pulling for you.

Hello my sistah! It was so great to hear your voice the other day! This has been just an incredible journey for you. You are doing so great! Keep it up. Although you are still in the 'fragil' stage, I have no doubt that you will be back on your feet in no time. The boys ask about you all the time. Skye keeps asking if Auntie Noe is still in the hostible and if you are getting better, and Ross was just amazed that I got to hear your voice the other day! I miss you dearly and pray for you to have patience and strength and faith in this stretch of your journey to recovery. My thoughts are with you...well, every second of the day! I love you...amb

Noelani – Noelani – Noelani - Hmmmm... Do you know that you make my day when I get to hear your voice??? Welp... You do!

And, I want everyone in our little community of Windsor (and outside of Windsor too) who have been constantly thinking about you and praying for you to know that Noe will be back! I love that you are STILL Noe! LOVE IT!!! You are such a genuine, awesome person (and the happiest on the earth : ) and you make my day everyday now just knowing that you will be back to the Noe we all know and adore. I (and 3,000 other people or more : ) love you soooo much and I want them ALL to know how well you are doing. Noe has full movement of all of her body parts, her brain is pretty darn sharp for all that she has been thru and with her cute little shaved head… Noah and Luke look just like her! Adorable!!!

What a true miracle Noe is. She makes us all believe that with a little (or a lot) of faith EVERYTHING is possible.

You are the BEST Noe! I love you and adore our friendship and can’t wait to build on our memories together. Come home soon! Tiff
