Homecoming!

"Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name." 1 Chronicles 29:13

From Alex: "You guys are the best 'sisters and brothers' anyone could ask or dream of! Without your spiritual and emotional support this journey with Noe would be much more difficult! I thank God that you guys are willingly being the hands, feet, and heart of Jesus!!Love you all!"

"The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:17

Noe went home yesterday after 7 weeks in the hospital. The morning started with the removal of the staples from her last brain surgery. Then, the ride home was quite an adventure as she watched the world whirl by from the backseat of her van. Once home, she took a nap on the sofa with her favorite blanket. She then happily raided the kitchen for sweet treats and a crisp apple. The kids were very excited to see her when they got home from school. Noe helped them with their homework and then they enjoyed a family dinner together.

Noe's sister Joan arrives tomorrow for a long awaited visit. Noe would like to have a few visits with you starting next Tuesday, January 20th. Short visits are welcome and encouraged! Please be sure to wash up as you enter the house and only visit if you are healthy and haven't been in close contact with a person who has a cold or the flu because Noe's immune system has taken a beating. Please call home and ask for mom, 'T', and she will let you know if Noe is up for it. Physical therapy will be visiting the house as well.

We thank God for the precious gift of Noe's return home. We praise Him for family and for good friends. Please pray for Noe's continued restoration, increased stamina and for pain management. Pray for Alex as he leads his family in the months to come.

"Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin. Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need." Hebrews4:14-16

Noe,
I am soooo very thankful and happy that you are back where you belong...HOME.... with your family!
The thought of you sitting at the table brought giant tears to my eyes, tears of joy....the little things, all of us before this moment, seem monotous or even as a chore some nights, we all need to treasure. You have taught us that! And that faith can carry us threw some horrendous things. I will continue to pray everyday for you and your family. Ask Tiff where i pray for you in the morning")
Thank you, Noe, for the faith and your strengh.
can't wait to see you at bunco in the near future!
Love ya,
Andrea

Tammy is right....what a beautiful day for a homecoming. I forgot to tell you what the boys said on Tuesday night. Sam and I were saying good-bye to them and they were SO EXCITED about you coming home. They were like jumping beans. And one of them, I think Luke said that everyone should get the day off...everyone in Windsor and it should be called "Noe Coming Home Day!" Of course we all agreed with him. We are so thankful you are home. Love, hugs, and prayers to all of you Au-Yeungs!

Welcome home Noe.....I am so excited for you, your family and your friends that you are finally where you should be. I think your boys are on to something and that January 14th should now be a Town of Windsor holiday "Noe Came Home"! I know I will take it off next year, no problem. I hope you know how wonderful you are and how many peoples lives you touch everyday from every age and every walk of life. Just for an example Kobe comes home from school with news about you and is soooo excited when it good news such as "MOM, NOE IS HOME!" We are so blessed to be a part of your life! Can't wait to see your smiling face.

Wow! Whoever said that the Christian life is an adventure was right! What a journey. I am so grateful to our faithful and loving God, who hears and prayers and is gracious enough to give us the desires of our hearts. This day has been a desire on my heart for so long (the same for many others). I have been rejoicing with so many. Please put me on the list of possible visitors-I am so looking forward to seeing you-my friend! i love you and am so proud of you and your family--you have witnessed the great love of God and a faithful family--and girlfriend, you are so strong and an overcomer! Please know that I am here for you all and willing to help in any way possible!
love, Shawna

Finally you're home! Oh what a blessed day it is. There's a feeling of excitement and a special day to joyfully thank the Lord. He paved the way for you and took you by the hand and lead you to where you're at now. We all know that the journey is not over yet, but continuing to have faith in him who is the master physician will bring you his love and grace. We wish we could have been there to see you arrive at home but thats okay because the excitement of it all really should be enjoyed by Alex and the boys first. We hope to some day see you soon and we will continue to ask the Father through prayers for your strength to soon return. Keep Smiling and know that the Lord will always be with you.

"Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint". Isaiah 40:28-31
