Replacing the Bone Flap

Noe's surgery to replace the bone flap on her head is scheduled for 7:30 Wednesday morning. The surgery should take approximately 2-3 hours. She will be given the sedative Propofol again, so she will be very sleepy following surgery. The plan is for her to remain in the ICU for 2-3 days, then move back down to the rehab center. She was feeling anxious about the surgery but knew it was necessary. This is the last big hurdle for her.

We ask for prayer that she has a restful night and that God will calm her anxieties and give her peace. Please pray that God will guide the surgeons hands and that there are no complications with the surgery. Pray there are also no difficulties with Noe coming out of anesthesia.

"Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun. Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him..." Psalm 37:4-7

Hi Noe & Alex,
It's early Wednesday morning and we just got your latest update on this mornings surgery. We'll be in prayer shortly asking the Lord and Father to provide the guidance to the doctors and staff so that the surgery will go on without any complications. We also pray that our Father gives your body the rest that will be required after the surgery. For Alex we pray for your calmness and strength to get you through todays activities. May the Lord our Father and Master guide you and give you peace through this day.

"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous hand."
Isaiah 41:10
