Throne of Grace

8:00 am from Alex: After I left last night at 9:30 PM, Noe was responsive and holding my hand. Later in the evening she took a few steps backwards. She is showing signs of another infection. She has a fever and they are trying to cool her internal temperature down. The MDs have ordered another special panel of tests as well as a CT. Test results are negative for Meningitis. Thankfully, the ICP monitor was still in place to measure and control the pressure in the brain. She is fully loaded on sedatives in order to keep her comfortable.

Please pray that God will heal this infection and that He will guide the MDs and staff as they care for Noe. Pray for Alex’s strength and perseverance. Pray for health in the Au-Yeung household as some family members are fighting colds.

“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Is. 40:28-31

“Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” Hebrews 4:16
