ICU, Day 10

We had another restful day in the ICU. Noe was trying to wake up today. She may have some residual sleepiness from the sedatives. The good news is that they turned off the ventilator temporarily to allow her to breathe on her own through the tube. She is beginning to breathe deeper! We will have another CT scan tomorrow to check her progress. Please pray that Noe will become more alert and continue to pray for Alex's strength.

"You light a lamp for me. The Lord, my God, lights up my darkness. In your strength I can crush an army; with my God I can scale any wall." Psalm 18:28,29

Alex, Bless you for your commitment and faithfulness to your lovely wife. May the Lord strengthen you and keep you, and give you rest. ("Come to Me all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." - Matt. 11:28.) And, Noe, may the Lord continue to heal you. He knows all of your physical needs, and He will supply them out of His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Phil. 4:19).

Noe, keep feeling that safe cradle of hands around you that you can draw more power from. Gather your strength little by little…. You are strong and getting stronger! We are all cheering for you!
Alex, we keep you and your family in our thoughts; remember to take care of yourself and don’t hesitate to ask us for help.

I am really impressed by the faithfulness your family has demonstrated throughout these times of trials. Throughout these blogs you have witnessed to the world how important it is to trust the Lord.

Just wanted to let you all know that we all at Mark West are praying and loving Noe and all of you through all of this. I know that many of us are reading the blog morning and evening, and I am waking CONSISTENTLY in the night and my first thought is prayer for Noe. Esp. against infection and for God's tangible presence in her heart and mind, and in Alex's. We teachers all have the boys foremost in our minds, too. You are very loved, and we thank God for His provisions, mercy and grace!
